kt's life: day on the water

Today was perfect :D Robbie caught 2 bass,and I caught one (but he hooked it). The biggest was a 5 pounder and the other 2 came off beds which means they were spawning. When we first got there it was SUPER foggy until 10 am. One time we tried going out into more open waters but it was so foggy still we couldn't see 50 ft in front of us. So we waited til 10ish then the fog mainly disappeared and after that the day was beautiful! I thought I was going to catch first fish but it turned out I had caught a stump. :( There were alotta stumps and hydrilia which made driving the boat hard and dangerous. He's said people have died out here. But we didn't. As you see. I wasn't scared at all, more so excited because it was a new adventure and new place I've never been. We saw a log and it had a big black ring around it. Guess what it was. A big cotton mouth!!! So we headed out. Then as Robbie was using the trollin motor I was looking at my bait in the water when I saw something spotted like a fish and moving. Then I followed the rest of it and figured out it was a cotton mouth. So we headed out again. The next place we went to had a lot of hydrilia where there was a nice 9ish foot gator laying right next to us. We weren't scared of that though. Then we got caught on a stump next to the gator and were stuck there for awhile. Then we fished a lil bit more and that's when Robbie got the 5 pounder. It had eggs, so we tossed it back cause we wanted more bass to catch in the future ;) Then we went to the boat ramp and 3 or so Game Warden were there. They talked to us and all the boats that came in around our time. For us they just wanted to do a safety check but I think another boat got a citation. He didn't ask for our fishing license though which we thought was weird and he was surprised we didn't keep any of the fish and of course I took many pictures:
